Introducing the C-DISK Project's First Newsletter May 2023

We are thrilled to announce the publication of the first newsletter from the C-DISK Project (2021-1-IT01-KA220-VET-000028010)!

The C-DISK Project: Navigating the Digital Transformation

C-DISK is a unique initiative aiming to empower organizations and professionals to stay competitive in the rapidly evolving digital world. The project is dedicated to addressing Digital Transformation requirements, focusing on a wide spectrum of digital and interpersonal skills and attitudes.

Our mission is centered around three main goals:

  1. C-DISK Digital Skills Model: An initiative that validates technological knowledge, transversal soft skills, and e-leadership through surveys and focus groups.
  2. C-DISK Self-Assessment Platform: A service to help individuals gauge their digital skills.
  3. C-DISK Blended Training Toolkit: A suite of blended-learning module-based training courses.

The Consortium: A Collaboration across Borders

We proudly collaborate with project partners from across Europe, including ECOLE (Italy), UPI Zalec (Slovenia), University of Turku (Finland), RISEBA (Latvia), BIC Innobridge (Bulgaria), IDEC (Greece), and ASFOR (Italy).

Our Ambitious Objectives

At C-DISK, we’ve set several key objectives to guide our work, including supporting the development of digital skills in VET and continuous training processes, reducing skill shortages in the labour market, facilitating the formal recognition of digital skills, and boosting the capacity of vocational training institutes to design and deliver digital skills courses.

Recapping Our Second Transnational Meeting

In October 2022, we had the privilege of hosting our second transnational meeting in Žalec, Slovenia. This meeting was a fruitful gathering where our consortium discussed and planned the forthcoming project outputs. We’re now eagerly working on our next steps to meet the target group’s needs, spanning knowledge and know-how, a wide array of interpersonal skills, and e-leadership related skills.

As Simeon Preston wisely said, “The biggest part of our digital transformation is changing the way we think.”
